We happened to come to Lavalettes on their opening dinner evening and can’t believe our luck! We were seated on the beautiful porch of their historic building in downtown Charlotte Amalie, with a great view of the harbor and the sunset. We’ve been really impressed with our restaurant experiences during our vacation in St. Thomas, but Lavalettes topped all our other meals - we especially loved the octopus starter, mushroom side, and the steak. If you just have time for drinks, the bar and hotel interior are perhaps even more interesting than the outside. The entire atmosphere is incredible! Thanks to the staff for a wonderful evening.
